Hyphen case study

Hyphen is an international architecture practice specialising in data centres and retail developments for clients around the world.

Brief

Hyphen wanted to reposition itself as more than just an architecture firm – showing its value as a strategic adviser that helps businesses grow and make informed investment decisions.

With the appointment of new CEO Eva Diego, the business needed support in closing the gap between how it was perceived externally and the broader expertise it already delivered across global markets.

Our Activity

Altitude developed a long-term PR strategy designed to raise Hyphen’s profile and position the company as a trusted partner for clients and investors.

We created a thought leadership campaign focused on key industry topics including digital infrastructure, retrofit and repurposing, regulation, and the changing role of architecture in business strategy. Activity included articles, interviews, podcasts, media commentary, press releases and speaking opportunities.

As many projects were subject to confidentiality agreements, commissioned articles became an important way for Hyphen to share expertise and lead industry conversations without relying on project case studies. Target media included architecture, property, investment and national business publications.

Results

Altitude successfully supported the launch of CEO Eva Diego, securing coverage in titles including CoStar, AJ, Insider, Archiscene, Architecture Today, Place Guild and Bdaily.

Thought leadership features appeared in publications including Building Design, Estates Gazette and BE News. We also secured unpaid speaking opportunities at MIPIM 2026, Advancing Data Centers 2026 and Tomorrow’s Warehouse, alongside interviews and podcasts with leading industry platforms.
